There is quite a history behind this unusual hotel. Actually Aman Sveti Stefan is a fortified island connected to land with a narrow causeway. Built 600 years ago it first served as Muslim settlement before falling in the hands of 12 Christian families who fortified the island. Then it became a pirate stronghold, only to be taken over by Serbian government and fall in ruin at the end of 20th century.

Luckily this place was not forgotten and after renovation it serves as a luxury resort until today.

So what can you expect from such a unique place with rich history? Your room will be a traditional local house while old square is serving as social centre of the resort. You'll find it as a great palce to relax, visit restaurants, bakery and "Cigar Room".
