Corsewall Lighthouse

  Book now!

Book your unique stay at the historical lighthouse!

Stranraer in South West Scotland has long been one of the main points of crossing between Ireland and Scotland. The Irish Sea can be tempestuous - 133 people died in 1953, when the Princess Victoria (the ship, not the monarch) sank in heavy seas. Corsewall Lighthouse has been shining a light to guide ships to into the harbor safely. You can stay in the lighthouse in a selection of rooms - each with unique character. One has a sea-facing conservatory and all have amazing views of the scenery, which is some of the most beautiful in the United Kingdom!

Some of the accommodation is more like holiday cottages than a hotel with period furniture, sitting rooms and spacious bathrooms. The area surrounding the Lighthouse is home to the Seriously Strong Cheese Company who make popular cheddar. The area is also famous for its Single Malt Whisky. The menu is mouthwatering and rich with seafood and hearty soups. Lovely jubbly!
