XVI century castle with amazing view

Unique Dromoland Castle is one of the finest castles in Ireland, founded long time ago by O’Briens Gaelic family, direct descendants of Brian Boroimhe (Boru). Castle was designed and built to be defensive stronghold until 16th century when it was partially rebuilt. Present hotel building was built in 19th century. Both exteriors and interiors of the castle are amazing and remind on every step about long and interesting history of the castle – it is quite a read!

Rooms here are luxuriously decorated with preserved historical features. Naturally there is restaurant, bar, Spa, golf course and… falconry school! Dromoland Castle is also considered as one of the best places in Ireland to have a wedding. Castle is located only 12km from Shannon Airport on the 450 acre ground including Lake Dromoland.
