Stay at James Bond birthplace!

Do not miss a chance to stay at unique hotel where all 13 novels of James Bond were written. It all started 70 years ago: future author Ian Fleming, recruited to Naval Intelligence took part in operation called GoldenEye taking place in Caribbean. Charmed by its beauty he felt already he will come back here after the WWII. And indeed, in 1946 he returned and found a perfect plot of 15 acres of tropical bush near lively port town of Orabessa Bay. He quickly telegraphed local realtor “Pray pause not. Ian.”, and sketched his dream villa on the desk blotter. The name? GoldenEye. Six years later Fleming wrote Casino Royale – first of his 13 James Bond books, all of which were written right here - at this unique hotel.

Property is also connected to other artists including Sting, who wrote “Every Breath You Take’ while vacationing here in 1983. Bono wrote opening song to the GoldenEye movie here. Johny Depp planted his tree near one of the lagoon huts. Other accommodation options include beach villas, lagoon cottages and ‘Strangeways’ located remotely at the top of the cliff.

Dining options here include Gazebo Restaurant where you can try Jamaican Ginger Cake, guava jam, calaloo, Jamaican Pear and naturally Jerk meat. Try relaxing at one of bars in the property, including ‘Bamboo Bar’ serving rum. Naturally, you can dine at your room or al fresco – hotel staff will arrange anything for you here.

Local attractions include Kayaking, SUP, Sailing, snorkeling and glass-bottom boat excursions. This is the place you want to stay.
