After grand opening in 1930's Hotel Palacio Estoril, with all its size and luxury, was like Titanic among the other hotels. Except it did not sink and is doing quite well hosting celebrities and royalties from around the world! There is even dedicated "Royal Wing" for the most important guests, who require extra privacy.
If you fancy a standard room, you can still enjoy the fact that whole hotel was a movie plan for sixth of James Bond movies with agent 007 ("On Her Majesty's Secret Service"). Expect everything James would expect: three restaurants, bar serving martinis, spa, tenis courts, watersports and a renowned golf course. Martini please!
