Observe the night sky in amazing nature hotel!

Welcome to the Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve, where you will have unique chance to spend a night really close to the nature. Actually you cannot get any closer when you choose one of the special Star or Sky suites! It's because you won’t find any walls here. Instead there will be thousand stars during night time, unobstructed sunset views, personal braai (South African barbeque) and wood fired bath. Both suites are placed in the remote areas so you’ll have quads at your disposal to get there. Just one more reason to book!

If you feel like open suites are too much, there are 10 cave suites carved in sandstone, where you can spend a night. All modern comforts are here - electricity, bathroom, air conditioning, king size beds bathrobes and more. How many of your friends can say that they spend a night in a cave?

 
You have also a chance to spend a night in a traditional dwelling of the local San Clans - a round hut that resembles houses of the tribes who lived in Kagga Kamma region since forever. Of course all huts are equipped with First World amenities.

 
It all started in 1986, when Willie and two Pieters bought Kagga Kamma along with three adjacent farms. First cottage was built a year later, and in 1988 whole place was transformed into reserve. Since then more chalets were introduced along with antelope species including Black Wildebeest, Springbok and Steenbuck.

 
Apart of the nature excursions you can sign up for stargazing, 4x4, quad biking, mountain biking, or educational tours. Or you can see rock paintings painted over 6000 years ago.
