Charming tree house in the middle of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve
Among the trees in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, we found one of the most unique places to stay in India. Five charming treehouses are located on the 21 acre of land offering intimacy and close contact with nature. Close and unique, because property is now home to resident species of mammals, birds and reptiles.
The treehouse design is one of the best we've seen so far - neatly decorated treehouses are cleverly hiding all modern comforts: private bathrooms, hot and cold runing water and even AC. Jungle comforts include mosquito netting, back up power and amazing view from your private balcony.
All treehouses has been named after the trees they're on: Tendu, Peepal, Banyan, Palash and Mahua. The last one is 100-year old tree with dining hall spreading on two levels. Lower has restaurant that serves Indian, Continental and BBQ personalized meals to the guests needs, while upper level has amazing cozy bar, called The Watering Hole, with comfortable loungers and amazing atmosphere.
