Power station turned into charming hotel
When you enter unique Turbine Hotel, you will have a feeling that the power station is still operational! Luckily, all the noise is gone now and whole place has been skillfully converted into charming boutique hotel with 27 bedrooms. All have private bathrooms, TV and extra-long beds(!). Original machinery has been restored, painted and is on display. And it looks just great!
Hotel has restaurant, bar and hot-stone massages, but perhaps the best thing here is lovely, blue pool overlooking waterfront. Turbine Hotel is placed on Thesen Island - tourist attraction in itself. Win-win!
