At least that's how this hotel was called after its renovation in 1917, which resulted in an incredibly large domed atrium. Hotels mineral baths were famous for long time, and were told to cure everything except naive investment decisions. After Wall Street crashed, hotel went bankrupt and owners decided to donate the building to Jesuits.
