CastleDesignHistorical
We’ve seen a lot of design hotels, but these unique apartments must be somewhere in the top! Prepare yourself for weird, but somehow coordinated mixture of antique, exotic, art deco and modern features (sic!) At the beginning it might overwhelm, but in the end - they will win your heart.
What’s more – apartments are set within the only privately-owned castle in Georgia, built in 16th Century and used as the residence for Persian Shah for Eastern Georgia. Then it was converted to convent (where nuns live). Then during communism, it was converted to ordinary apartments. Today property is refurbished, and you have a chance to sleep between medieval walls.
You get all the comforts you might need – breakfast, bar, cozy pool and terrace with wonderful view.
Top pick in the Tbilisi!
