In 1899 two brothers - Antoni and Władysław Krzemińscy opened here world's second cinema - right after Lumiere brothers in France. For the next 130 years wild imagination of cinematography made millions of people heart's beat faster, shed tears, laugh, cry and scream in fear. Today you have a chance to relive the history by staying in Stare Kino (Old Cinema) Hotel.
Hotel has 42 apartments, each decorated with the unique theme decided by the film and history specialists. Many themes feature movies that were actually produced locally.
Hotel also has a very distinct restaurant and cozy little cinema. If you'll feel inspired you can visit nearby Museum of Cinematography and SE-MA-FOR (Animation studio). Perfect for movie lovers!
