Shebara Resort on Sheybarah Island in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea is a stunning blend of futuristic design and ecological harmony. Conceived by the acclaimed Killa Design, the resort features 73 villas, including iconic overwater orbs made from polished stainless steel. These spherical villas mirror the surrounding sea, sky, and coral reefs, creating a breathtaking illusion of floating structures. This circular design symbolizes unity and integration, while inland villas, inspired by sand dunes, offer unparalleled privacy in the island’s serene landscapes.
The resort emphasizes sustainable luxury. Its villas were prefabricated in the UAE to minimize environmental impact during construction. Weighing around 120 tons each, these orbs were carefully transported and installed without disrupting the delicate marine ecosystem.
Beyond the architectural marvels, Shebara offers a host of experiences. From diving into vibrant coral reefs to enjoying treatments at the Pearl and Green Caviar Signature Hammam, guests can fully immerse in relaxation or adventure. For dining, options range from Mediterranean to Peruvian and Japanese-Nikkei cuisines, catering to every palate.
Located in Al Wajh Lagoon, 45 minutes by boat from the mainland, the resort ensures seclusion and tranquility. It’s not just a vacation spot; Shebara is a bold statement of how innovative design and sustainability can create a unique, world-class destination.
