After 2 years of long searching Gaylyn and Maurice found the perfect spot for their future guests. Including you. Originally used as banana farm (used until today), the plot was transformed slowly from 1998. And then slowly lodges with private pools, cozy fireplaces, outdoor daybeds were added. Both hosts are quite an adventurers, so expect beds from Zanzibar, doors from Tibet or temple windows from India.
It's better keep them opened, because you can spot Mountain leopards, Servals, Bushbucks, Hippos, Vervet Monkeys, Baboons and bush babies (those cute small mammals with big eyes in case you're wondering)
Restaurant here is a feast, and local attractions include safari rides, quad biking, picnics by the waterfall, bass fishing, river rafting, aerial cable trail and microlight flights. The famous Kruger Park is just 32km away, so big 5 is almost at your door step. We loved every minute of it!
