Hidden gem with resident leopard
Tucked between granite boulders in the wild plains of Ruaha National Park lies one of the most unique lodges in Tanzania - Jabali Ridge. It offers one of the best views of the Mwagusi River area spotted with sand rivers, baobabs and wild animals. The best thing is that not many know about this place yet, so you have a good chance to avoid crowds.
There are only 8 rooms here, each with elegant decor, king-sized beds and private bathrooms. Pick Room 1 for the best sunrise view. You can travel through wooden walkways to intimate infinity pool, bar and restaurant. Breakfast in the last one is a delight, with everything from full-cooked option to cheese and fruit. Naturally there are also is also lunch, dinner and occasional BBQ's options. Or you can arrange candlelight dinner by the pool. Just watch out for resident leopard who likes to drink from the pool. Amazing!
