The great thing about lighthouses is that they usually offer the best views of the area. And Belle Tout is no exception. Placed on a Beachy Head, this unique hotel rises 162 metres above sea level to offer fantastic views of the dramatic sea.
Lighthouse was build in 1832 due to the large number of shipwrecks but first petitions were made almost 150 years earlier. Rooms are called "Captains Cabin", "Old England" abd Keepers Loft", and are axactly what it says on the box. If you get to the top of the lighthouse you'll get 360 degree view of the area. Worth the climb!
